Fingers crossed – my Achilles felt much better today. In fact, I can now push and prod it without pain, which is something I’ve not been able to do for weeks. All the same, I’m in no hurry, so I’ll only up the ante gradually.
Tomorrow morning I’m off to Tasmania for work until the end of the week. I’ll be in Launceston, which is one of my favourite places to run. I’m looking forward to getting in a few more kilometres than I have in recent times – without overdoing, of course.
Here’s another great Monument Valley photo. You can clearly see the ‘rabbit ears’ in the distance. It gets very hot in the summer, but I was there at the ideal time (late March) when the temperatures were mild. As I’ve said many times, it was one of my favourite places of the world run.
