It’s exactly eight years today since I completed the South American leg of my run around the world, dipping my toe in South Atlantic waters in Buenos Aires – see the photo below. It was an eventful final few days, which included being bitten by a dog – see another photo below, which I have posted before.

The rest of the photos are from the approach to Buenos Aires or through the suburbs, except for one. You may recall from a few posts back my description of meeting Mauro and his family in central Argentina. Well, we stayed with Mauro and Laura on this day, 5 Dec 2012, which is where this photo was taken. All the kids are eight years older now. It would be interesting to see what they look like these days.

From Buenos Aires I had a break before recommencing the world run in Europe in January.
