I ran into Malibu on this day seven years ago, reaching Los Angeles the following day. Below are a few photos from the day, including the typical style of Malibu beachside house. Who knows, maybe Charlie Harper lived in one of these.

The coastal road through Malibu was nowhere near as busy as I’d expected, probably because the freeway to the north and west passes by north of the coastal mountain range. I was on that road the previous day when I ran through Ventura. I’ve also provided a few links to videos from this day and before, including one (the first listed below) from the Big Sur coastal road.
