My start to the running year continues to go well. So far I’ve covered 84 km in the first four days. I also ran a kilometre in 5:02 as part of one of those runs. That’s my fastest in the past couple of months. My Achilles continues to behave.

Here are some photos from this time seven years ago, when I’d only just begun my run around the world. These were all taken in the Central Otago region of New Zealand as I made my way toward Dunedin, which was, by the way, the most southerly point of the whole world run.
