A session of 10 x 50 metre sprints this morning, 400 metres in 81 secs last Thursday, and a very comfortable 3 km in 14:21 on Friday. And throw in all the usual slower running too. That’s a huge improvement on where I was only a few months ago.
I’ve been told about a new app that runners may find interesting. I’ve had a look at it, but not actually used it myself. It’s an ‘immersive experience’ where you can pretend to be running (or cycling) anywhere while actually on a treadmill or stationary bike. If you’re interested in technology like this to enhance your running, no harm in giving it a try. It’s called Vingo – www.vingo.fit.
