Today’s foray into speed involved a mile instead of 1 km. I thought it was time to up the ante. The 6:06 I ran was a better effort, in my opinion, than any of the one kilometres over recent weeks. My lungs felt fine but, as I find these days, my legs just wouldn’t go any faster.

Eight years ago I was briefly back in Sydney to qualify for a new US visa waiver, returning a few days later to Wyoming to recommence the world run journey. So no photos from there today. However, I was on the road in Bulgaria and Turkey at this time in 2013. The photos below are from then, including one as Barry and I crossed the border into Turkey, immediately passing a mosque with minarets.
