I feel like I have a lot of energy at the moment when I run, but the outer calf muscle strain is forcing me to take it easy. I probably pushed it a little harder than I should have this morning, causing a mild setback. I’ll have to be more careful and more patient. Patience is not one of my virtues, so it’s difficult. I just have to keep reminding myself that a lack of patience now will mean I’m going to require more of it in the future.
Here’s a photo from Nebraska six years ago, as a group of bikies passed me on the road. Bikies often waved as they passed me. Perhaps they saw me as a kindred spirit, roaming the highways of the world as they like to do.
