I’m back in Sydney now, having spent the past four nights in Hawaii. I expected to be a bit sluggish running this morning, but I actually felt very good, averaging 5:32 per km, which included a fastest K of 3:40. That’s only five seconds slower than I ran a month ago.
For those who like to follow other world runners and walkers, there’s a new guy on the road now. Dustin Johnson, a young American, set out on May 1 from his home town in Missouri to run around the world. You can follow Dustin on https://www.racearoundtheworld.run/
Today’s videos and photos are from this day in 2012, when I ran along a dirt road bordering the freeway, from Colorado into Wyoming. I don’t need to say too much – the images will tell the story of the day. You can see why these are considered the ‘big sky states’.
