Yesterday marked the 8th anniversary of my finishing the North American leg of the run around the world. I had started in San Francisco in February 2012 and covered over 12,000 km as I meandered my way across the US, finishing in Manchester, just north of Boston. And, instead of photos today, I have two videos for readers of this post. The first was filmed by me as I reached the Manchester, dipping my toe in the waters of the North Atlantic (I’d done the same in the Pacific when I started). The second is a compendium of photos of this leg of the run, put together by Carmel with great music accompanying it. I hope you enjoy them both.
