For those in Australia (and probably elsewhere via the internet), you can listen to a live interview I’ll be doing tonight on ABC Radio (in Sydney it will be in 702). I believe the interview will be about 15 minutes long, and will start around 6:30 pm AEST (0730 GMT).

On Friday I made the trip over to Adelaide for the official launch of the latest Oceanlinx wave energy converter. It is a very impressive structure, and I’m really looking forward to seeing it producing electricity in the ocean in a few months. Ali and the team have done a mighty job in getting it to this stage. The unit will be the world’s first 1 megawatt wave energy device, and the first truly commercial demonstration of ocean waves as a viable renewable energy source. As the founder of the company, I’m really proud to see it come this far.
