I forgot to mention in the last post that I ran a total of 105 km last week; definitely my biggest week since the Big Red Run by a long stretch, and the first in triple figures since then. This week will likely see less running, as I will spend the next two days very busy at work in Tasmania.
That’s OK, as I don’t want to overdo things, especially given my surprisingly good session yesterday – the 3:36 kilometre was much better than I expected. I might even do a fast lap of Centennial Park on Friday. I haven’t done that in quite a while.
This photo sees me sampling a Marlborough sauvignon blanc in Blenheim, NZ during my world run. As you can see, the winery is very topical for a person running around the world. Well, it would be if they added the word ‘Gump’ to the winery name.
