The video in today’s post is from the day I crested the Poncha Pass in Colorado, at just over 9,000 feet. The thing I recall most about the experience was how it was a pretty easy climb, as many of the passes in Colorado are. I took the video as I ran. Interestingly, there’s also a photo that Carmel took at the top of the pass showing me filming the video.

There is also a photo from later that day in the town of Salida, where I drank the largest margarita I’ve ever seen. Needless to say, I only had one. There are also three very green and flat photos from northern Serbia, which I reached on this date in 2013. Only a week or so earlier I’d been running in the snow in Czechia.
