Another sprint session of 8 x 80 metres on Monday – I chose the odd distance simply because it creates variety. Doing the same thing all the time gets boring.

And these sprints are starting to have the effect of making my things thicker. I’m noticing my jeans are tight around the thighs. So the extra weight I’ve recently noticed on the scales is not just flab – there’s some muscle involved too.

I arrived in Mount Gambier on this day in 2013. The previous couple of days had been spent running from Naracoorte, through the Coonawarra wine region. There are a few photos below from that time, along with a map showing my route across Australia to that point in time. It felt like I was getting very near to the end of my run around the world.
