I had a crack at a 2 km time trial again this morning, mainly because I thought my time from two weeks ago was soft. I did manage to bring the time down from 7:49 to 7:43 (3:55, 3:48). I guess a six second improvement in two weeks is reasonable. My aim over this distance now is to crack the 7:30 mark at some stage.

Today’s world run photos include parts of my journey in the south-east of South Australia in 2013, including my approach to the bridge over the Murray River in the aptly named town of Murray Bridge.

The 2012 photos entail my time running in south-eastern Missouri and north-eastern Arkansas, including one of a lovely smoked salmon salad that Hannah prepared for lunch, my wounds from a fall in the town of Kennett in Missouri (Sheryl Crow’s home town), and one of me looking pensive ahead of getting back out on the road and taking on the heat.
