I’m now having no pain at all in my hip region when I run, although I still get it occasionally when standing or sitting. And the core strengthening exercises seem to be making me more balanced during my running – I appear¬†to be getting faster for the same effort. I’ll keep monitoring that to see if the effect is real or just perceived.

I’m now feeling much healthier (running wise) ahead of the New Year – a year in which I have quite a bit planned. It should be my biggest year of racing for over a decade. The one possible obstacle will be travel. Ive been doing a lot of flying recently for work. Hopefully it won’t interfere with my training next year.
