We’re currently in Auckland for Christmas, so I get to run in a different environment for a while. Today I ran to the top of the main hill in the suburb of Devonport – a short but very steep climb, affording a fantastic view at the top. Although I can find very steep hills in Sydney, I tend not to do so. Here, however, a climb means a good view of the surrounding city, so there’s a lot more motivation to do hills.
