As many are aware, I am currently writing a book about the run around the world. I’m now approaching the 40,000 word mark. This loosely equates to about 240 pages. I expect there will be about another 20,000 words before I’m finished. I’m aiming to finish the book by the end of month or early in March, though it won’t be published for a little while after that.

On this day last year I was running in western Spain, zeroing in on Toledo. And two years ago today I was running in Hamilton in New Zealand with Chook and some of his mates. Unfortunately, at the moment I am doing little running due to my heel, but I’m seeing a podiatrist on Friday. Hopefully we’ll find the cause and get it corrected.
