Happy Bastille Day, and happy birthday to Ironbark O’Driscoll. We celebrated his birthday six years ago on the Nullarbor during the world run – which is where, due to his firewood finding skills, he got his name.

However, we’re currently looking back at seven years ago, and on this day I was in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As usual, below are some photos from that time. The first photo is from the suburbs just north of the Milwaukee CBD. As you can guess from the photo of me without a shirt, the temperature was warming up significantly.
