We’re back in New Zealand for a few days, visiting Hannah, Charlie, Matilda, and Dougie (the dog). So that gives me the opportunity to enjoy some different runs again, and I will certainly be availing myself of this. By the way, I can hardly feel my strained quad now, although I’ll still have another relatively easy week to make sure it heals properly.
Now, back to memories of the world run – seven years ago I was passing through Wisconsin and the heat was increasing rapidly. I actually did three TV interviews in Wisconsin, the second of which you can see in the video below. There are also some photos of the wonderful countryside, as well as one showing a thermometer at 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Within two weeks it was up to 140 degrees.
