The 100 metre sprint intervals I’ve been doing these past two Mondays already appear to be paying dividends. Yesterday I ran 1 km in 3:30, my fastest in two years, and only one second slower than my fastest in five years. I’m really happy with that. I’m going to persevere and see how low I can get that time. I was worried I might never go under 3:30 again, but I’m now confident that will occur fairly soon.

The photos for today are from the early part of my crossing of Australia in 2013, as well as a couple from Minnesota in 2012. The Australian photos include one in Perth where a local Channel 9 crew did a story on the banks of the Swan River, and one with Grace near Northam.
