Only three weeks now to the Royal Double Ultra. The 100 km event will be held over two days in the Royal National Park, south of Sydney. By the way, this is the second oldest national park anywhere in the world (founded 1879), after Yellowstone (1872). There are only a handful of places remaining in the race, so enter ASAP if you’re interested.

The video below was taken this time in 2012 as I ran north of the town of Lidgerwood in North Dakota. Two days later I made it to Fargo. In the video I’m complaining about the heat, but it was about to get a whole lot hotter in the month ahead.
