Mar 10, 2014

My running rehab continued this morning with a 50% increase in distance over yesterday. And my heel felt very good. Tomorrow I add another 20% on top of today. If I can get through that without incident, I reckon everything will be very much on track. I hope so, as I’m scheduled to run 100 km on May 2.

This morning I finally finished the first draft of the book about my run. I still have the very important task of reviewing, editing, and making changes, which I expect will take a couple of weeks. After that, it’s off to the publisher for a decision on whether it’s interesting enough to put on the shelves of the bookshops.

A year ago I was running in the south of France, watching the TGVs speed by. Two years ago today I crossed the Colorado River from California into Arizona. And, just for the record, on this day 36 years ago I obtained my driving license.
