I spent the past few days on the Tour de Bois mini tour. On this occasion we cycled in the Goulburn-Crookwell region – quite hilly, but thoroughly enjoyable. The highlight was a few hours spent over lunch at the Laggan Hotel, a very quaint old country pub in the hills above Crookwell.

As for running, this was just as good. Although both runs I had over the weekend involved long hills, sometimes kilometres long, I didn’t struggle at all. That was in contrast to a time trial I did on Thursday, where I could only manage 2km in 8:52. Sometimes you just have a bad day.
